The Dynastar E 4x4 skis with Xpress 11 bindings is a great system ski option for ladies who want a versatile carving ski that provides a balance of power and forgiveness along with a uniquely smooth feel on snow. Dynastar designs these skis a bit differently than most, and the result is a one-of-a-kind feel. Starting at the core of the ski, Dynastar uses their Hybrid core which is comprised of a combination of wood and polyurethane along with a Titanal laminate lid overtop the core. This combination of materials provides a lot of power as well as vibration damping resulting in a very stable and quiet ski altogether. The core is thicker in the central portion of the ski and thinner out in the tip and the tail. This helps reduce the swingweight of the ski and allows for more play in the tip which adds releasability, forgiveness and float. This ski features essentially a full camber profile which is where a lot of the ski’s edge grip comes from. This shape is great for skiers who spend most of their time on groomed or hard-packed terrain, but the wider waist of 82 millimeters provides enough of a platform for handling softer snow on the edges of the trails or on days where there are a few inches of fresh snow on the groomers.
