2026 Stockli Laser SX Skis W/ SRT 12 Bindings

2026 Stockli Laser SX Skis W/ SRT 12 Bindings

The 2026 Stockli Laser SX with SRT 12 Bindings is an approachable and forgiving on-piste ski intended for medium to long turn shapes at a variety of speeds. Slight torsional suppleness in the tips and tails of the ski make turn initiation and release a touch smoother for ease of use. Its lightweight core combined with Turtle Shell 2.0 technology make the SX agile and easy to maneuver, especially from edge to edge.

Why we like it:

The Laser SX’s approachability for being such a high-end product is something special. Typically, skis like this are oriented towards expert skiers with a racing background whereas the SX delivers high end performance to a broader range of skier types and abilities.

Who it's for:

Upper intermediate to expert skiers looking for a high performance frontside carving ski that can make a multitude of turn shapes at various speeds.

Highlights:

The SX has a poplar and beech wood core with the majority being poplar to keep the weight down without sacrificing much in the way of stiffness and power. Two full titanal laminates are then sandwich the core with Turtle Shell 2.0 technology. Turtle Shell 2.0 is in regard to slits milled out of the titanal laminates in a wave-like pattern to make the extremities of the skis slightly supple for better turn initiation and release while also making the flex pattern a little more forgiving. Solid Metal Edge Light uses a thicker overall edge with a less deep insert into the ski for weight savings. Adaptive Contact Length sidecut technology puts the widest point of the shovel forward of the beginning of the rocker profile to preserve nimble characteristics without sacrificing stability and grip through the duration of the turn.

Things to consider:

The Laser SX is a high-performance ski that comes at an associated price tag. If you are an intermediate skier who is looking to progress your carving technique and are on a budget, there are other options that would help you progress at a lower price. However, you will not get the same smoothness and premium feel that you get with the SX.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size.
